I do believe they do the job of combating bad breath but can not say they are better than Listerine, which was the one I had been using all along. Total different taste from Listerine, will use it until they are gone and perhaps will grow more fond of this product. I think it is great to have these strips available on a regular basis. Paid for a pack of 5 about $15.00 which I believe it is expensive but they do provide a much appreciated function. No more sudden encounters in between brushing or after a particular kind of meal. I agree with all my fellow reviewers: having bad breath is a curse and perhaps this product minimizes that condition. Short of asking people directly, "hey, would you be so kind to smell my breath and tell me what you think?", I just take them and surely will be more likely to have a nicer breath and that, in a nutshell, is why I think this kind of product is so attractive. Throw one or two in the mouth seconds before the moment of truth and it feels that the mouth is refreshed instantly. I like the feeling and have become quite dependent on their use. Chewed gum has to be disposed of, so these are more convenient. And yes, they do freshen things up. Also, the quantity is good and there are lots of strips per container. 3 of 3 found this review helpful: Best Bad Breath Stripper - Therabreath Strips!, 2007-08-30 I wasn't blessed with innately fresh breath like other people who seem to have sweet breath even after eating foods with onion, drinking coffee or smoking. For some reason I always felt a weird taste in my mouth after I eat, and my really good friend told me that she could smell my breath from more then a few inches away. This really alarmed me and I started looking online for some quick remedies. I found the Therabreath system and it worked like magic. I brush my teeth with the therabreath system (toothgel, oral rinse and tongue scraper) I carry the strips with me and I pop them in my mouth althrough out the day. It has this irresistable cinammon, minty taste. It freshes my breath instantly when I don't have the luxury of time to brush my teeth. I have become quite addicted to it, and I can't leave my house without it! A little box of TheraBreath fresh strips is a staple in my wallet. It's as important to me now as carrying cash! I can say that it's the best among all the breath freshening strips I have ever tried. I recommend the use of other Therabreath products with the Therabreath strips. That's the only way the Therabreath system will be most effective. If fresh breath matters to you, it is the only choice.
